UGCR conducted more than 150,000 tests of the quality of mobile communication services in 2023

During 2023, the Ukrainian State Radio Frequency Center monitored the quality of electronic communication services on mobile networks. According to the Planned Objectives received from NKEK, the Department for Measuring Telecommunication Networks in 2023 completed work to monitor the quality of mobile communication services.
The work was carried out by carrying out drive tests in settlements with residents from 2 to 10 thousand people, highways between them and on international roads of Ukraine.
As experts note, according to the results of quality monitoring drive tests for all providers of electronic communication servicesmost indicators correspond to the established levels, except for the indicator “Percentage of calls that meet the standards for connection establishment time for national calls Qvvchz”(from – for exceeding the connection installation time by more than 10 seconds).
Based on the results of quality monitoring drive tests, problem areas where the values of quality indicators did not meet the established levels were identified and analyzed.The information was sent to electronic communication service providers to take appropriate measures. Accordingly, the number of problem areas, especially in the Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnepropetrovsk regions, has decreased and the levels of quality indicators have improved.
