The new Nokia 230 is a semi-metallic dual-SIM feature phone
25.11.15
Microsoft unexpectedly launched a feature phone on the market under the Nokia brand itself. Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual Sim are two similar models with a difference in the number of SIM cards. Both have a flash on the front and are very affordable.

Featurephones, as they are called in slang, received a 2.8-inch screen with a resolution of 240×320. By the way, they will join the ranks of supposedly old phones in statistics on the popularity of screen resolutions and diagonals, which we recently talked about.

Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual Sim will receive 16 MB of RAM. It is stated that it is just enough to run Opera Mini, Bing search and the MSN weather service. Consider that there is no internal storage, so a memory card slot designed for a maximum of 32GB will come in handy.
The phones operate in the GSM band 900/1800 MHz, have Bluetooth 3.0 and radio. Micro USB is installed for charging. The dimensions of the phones are 124.6 x 53.4 x 10.9 mm and the weight is 91.9 grams. The battery has a capacity of 1200 mAh, so this is a very autonomous device (27 days for the single-SIM version and 22 days for the 2-SIM version). The case has a metal cover on the back, and the rest is plastic. You can buy the Nokia 230 phone in December for $55.
