Samsung has launched the Family Hub refrigerator, first presented at CES 2016. It is equipped with a 21.5-inch screen and three cameras.
Cameras are installed inside to take pictures of the food in the refrigerator every time the door is closed. The received data is transferred to a smartphone and allows you to find out what products you need to buy and what is enough. This can also be seen on the screen of the refrigerator itself.
The Family Hub display, set in portrait mode, allows you to display any data you want. It can be used to write notes, which are written on self-adhesive paper and glued to ordinary refrigerators. You can view weather forecasts, calendars, and open web pages.
Moreover, you can stream music to the refrigerator and even images from a Samsung smart TV. Family Hub is equipped with speakers, but you can connect any Bluetooth speakers with better sound to it.
By and large, the new Samsung refrigerator is a multimedia center in which you can store food. Its stated cost is $5800 and $6000 depending on the depth of the refrigerator compartment.
