Oppo has unveiled a new budget smartphone in its K series. The Oppo K12x features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness.
The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR4x) and 256 or 512 GB storage (UFS 2.2). Users can expand the internal storage using a microSD card up to 1TB. The device comes with Android 14 operating system pre-installed with ColorOS 14 interface.
The Oppo K12x packs a 5,500mAh battery and supports 88W fast charging. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers. In the camera section there are three modules: dual main 50 MP + 2 MP and front 16 MP.
Sales of the Oppo K12x smartphone will begin in China on May 20 at a price starting at $179. It is worth noting that it will appear on the global market later under the name OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite.
