New Ajax Systems FireProtect 2 AC fire sensors were released
22.02.24
Ajax Systems has announced that it has started selling new FireProtect 2 AC fire sensors with mains power and modern software that minimizes the number of false alarms. The line includes 5 models with different combinations of sensors: FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/Smoke/CO) Jeweler, FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/Smoke) Jeweler, FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/CO) Jeweler, as well as FireProtect 2 AC (Heat) Jeweler and FireProtect 2 AC (CO) Jeweller.
AC devices inherit all the differences of the FireProtect 2 series. They include a patented smoke chamber with protection against dust and insects, which does not require regular cleaning. Two class A1R thermothermistors react quickly to a sudden rise in temperature, and thanks to the chemical CO sensor, the sensor notifies users if there is a dangerous concentration of carbon monoxide in the air.
The smoke chamber is equipped with a dual-spectral optical sensor with blue and infrared LEDs that emit light with different wavelengths. This technology helps the sensor determine the size of the volatile particles in real time and respond only to the smoke from the fire, ignoring the water vapor.
Through scripts, fire sensors can interact with automation devices, CCTV cameras and PhOD wired and wireless sensors from the MotionCam series.
