NAVI become PGL Major Copenhagen champions in CS2

On March 31, the PGL Major Copenhagen ended – the first Major in the Counter-Strike 2 eSports discipline. The winner was the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere.
The winner was the team that won 2 cards. On the first map, Ancient won NaVi with a score of 13:9, but then the Ukrainian team lost to Mirage (13:2). For the last match of the Elimination Stage, NAVI had no room for error. Everything went to the decisive Inferno map, where Natus Vincere did not leave a chance to the opponent and won confidently (13:3).
The PGL Major Copenhagen prize fund was distributed as follows:
- 1st place: NAVI — $500,000
- 2nd place: FaZe – $170,000
- 3-4 place: Team Vitality, G2 Esports – $80,000 each
The winning team received $500,000. The next tournament for NAVI will be the ESL Pro League S19, which will be held from April 23 to May 12 in Malta.
An important event during the final was the fact that the viewers collected more than 5 million hryvnias for the needs of AZOV during the Ukrainian broadcast. The owner of Natus Vincere, Maxim Krippa, doubled this amount to send even more funds to the defenders of Ukraine.
