And the cycle opens again messages that Bitcoin is breaking records. The numbers are sometimes the same, only the year has changed. According to the Coindesk resource, the Bitcoin rate reached $69,208 for the first time since the end of 2021, which is a new record in recent years.
However, by now the rate has dropped to about $65 thousand. The previous all-time high ($68,990) was recorded in November 2021.
This year, the Bitcoin rate started at around $43-44 thousand dollars, and in two months it has grown by more than one and a half times. According to analysts, this growth has not yet reached its limit. It is expected that next month there will be a reduction in the reward for finding a block in the Bitcoin network, the so-called halving.
Around mid-April, the reward is expected to decrease from 6.25 to 3.125 BTC. Historically, halving was accompanied by an increase in the rate, so analysts suggest that the Bitcoin rate may soon exceed $70 thousand.
